Sunshine at last

Montana

Recommended Posts

We had sunshine late this afternoon, I just managed a full disc and some close ups before the sun left the garden at 5.30pm. I spent 20 minutes not being able to find the Sun AGAIN and after giving the controls to the hubby in a big strop he found it in 20 seconds. I have definitely lost it!!!!

Here is the full disc with the Solarscope DS

Superb image! A few days ago I couldn't find my phone, it had run out of battery and couldn't be called, in the end my wife found it...in the eyepiece holder tray of my telescope! :-)

Thanks guys for making me feel a whole lot better, I'm definitely losing my feminine ability to find lost things :( the hubby can't stop laughing!

We also tried twice to view at night, on Friday evening and Saturday, it was a totally clear evening both nights, the hubby just set up his scope and it started raining both times within 5 minutes of setting up. I do feel doomed, although we saw the comet with the binoculars for 5 seconds ;) I give up on this night time lark!
