Sunshine at last

We had sunshine late this afternoon, I just managed a full disc and some close ups before the sun left the garden at 5.30pm. I spent 20 minutes not being able to find the Sun AGAIN and after giving the controls to the hubby in a big strop he found it in 20 seconds. I have definitely lost it!!!!

Well done Alexandra, been waiting all day for enough clear sky to try a mosaic, could have done a full disc but am determined to manage a complete mosaic before I'm too old

Superb image! A few days ago I couldn't find my phone, it had run out of battery and couldn't be called, in the end my wife found it...in the eyepiece holder tray of my telescope! :-)

Thanks guys for making me feel a whole lot better, I'm definitely losing my feminine ability to find lost things the hubby can't stop laughing!

We also tried twice to view at night, on Friday evening and Saturday, it was a totally clear evening both nights, the hubby just set up his scope and it started raining both times within 5 minutes of setting up. I do feel doomed, although we saw the comet with the binoculars for 5 seconds I give up on this night time lark!
