First try with Webcam

First shots, tonights Full moon using Chinese-made Telescope camera (3MP) through my 8" Skywatcher Dobsonian. Unprocesssed, single snapshots just using software that was supplied with camera.

Happy with results overall, especailly as I first thought the camera was faulty. Looking forward to trying Saturn and stacking.

Yeah, I even printed and framed it for posterity, kinda reminds me of those Asteroid fly-by shots from NASA

V nice, you've captured it with a sense of it being close up, not just bigger.

Do many people use aliexpress? I've seen plenty on there I'd consider buying but am a bit dubious of the sellers.

I've never had a problem with it, although delivery from China can be very slow sometimes

Love the 2nd image! I can almost feel like I can reach out and feel the surface texture!
