Mars 15 April AM

I have not bothered imaging Mars over the last few clear nights because of the jet stream being fixed above the UK.  Last night the predictions said it might have moved away so I setup and captured some SER files with my trusty ASI120MC.

Anyway, this is the image that I dragged out of the data:

I am happy with the detail, but I think the data deserves to be revisited when I have a bit more time.

Cheers,

Chris

That's a pretty good image already, I reckon :)

The seeing was quite stable in intervals last night.  When I started on Mars it was a bit wobbly, but settled down nicely within half an hour or so and I was out until 2am.
