Mars 11/04 from Bembridge

A very quick session tonight as I'm on standby to nip back to the hospital - however once the haze cleared the seeing was fair to good and managed a couple of quick runs.

I think the last is the best taken at around F20 with the Expl 200P and QHY5L-IIM.

I feel I've probably done Mars to death, but keep hoping that the seeing will give one last hurrah - next up is Saturn, though might yet come back for a few more glimpses of the red planet.

another pretty good image Jake, interesting the seeing was decent i looked myself and noticed the haze cleared for a while but thought i would save myself for after midnight tonight (fingers crossed)

Very nice image Jake you've got some good detail there. Mars gets higher later this month so the best images may be around the corner.

Btw you seem to get rather more clear nights in the Isle of Wight than the rest of us!

Thanks Stuart - must be one of those grass is always greener things, though have had quite a few good nights over the last two weeks. Sadly new job and now daughter in hospital means I haven't been able to take full advantage Sure it will all work out in the end!
