Jupiter 102mm APO 26th Nov

Hey!

Just a quick capture of Jupiter with my new William Optics GT102 + DFK21 618. Seeing was fair I think. The 102mm aperture is not ideal for planetary photography, but its pretty sweet visually, especially if the seeing isnt that good.

Best regards Johan

What set up did you use for this? The quality is fantastic - so much detail!

Thanks! I used a DFK21 618 at 60fps for about 3min. Stacked in autostakkert and then processing in registax and PS. I miss my C8 in terms of resolution and light gathering when it comes to planetary imaging. But visually I think the 102mm APO gives great views of the planets.
