What time do you usually finish as I have some sport to do near Windsor so would potentially pop by around 10.30/11.00pm?  Will have the bins and tripod and would be great to meet some of you.

It was great to meet new faces and catch up with others too :)

It was an excellent night for observing with quite few objects in the bag...

Andromeda galaxy;

Triangulum galaxy;

Veil nebula;

crescent nebula;

Ring nebula;

Uranus;

Jupiter;

Kemble's cascade;

Double cluster.

There's probably 1 or 2 more that have slipped my mind too.

If I was in the back garden, I wouldn't thought to look for half of these objects. I also wouldn't have seen some but did thanks to a fellow observers 14" dob and an OIII filter - thanks for that :) (apologies, I have forgotten your name)  It's what makes meeting up as a group really rewarding. Looking forward to doing it again soon :)

Great to meet you all last night and thank you for sharing your views through various scopes.

And what a view from RC!!!!  My M25-afflicted home has a narrow field of view so the virtual 360 degree view was stunning.

Fingers crossed for more nights like that!

Clear skies
