Thank-you to all the nice welcome replies. I like it here already. My avatar is from a game called Star Trek Heroclix which is great fun, highly recommended if you like tactical games. I have a Meade LXD 10" scope which I have not had long, Last weekend I got out for the first time and saw M57 Nebula, I only had one eye piece a 2" 28mm so it was just a very small smoke ring I did use averted view and it does help, I managed to get a Baader Hyperion 17mm eye piece with the fine tunning rings so will have another go at M57 soon to see the difference the magnification makes.
