Hello everybody, my name is also Martin hence the "2" in the user name. I live in Devon near Torquay, dont have a telescope yet, I've been surfing for ages trying to decide what to buy (my brain hurts). I've been injoying reading your posts and thought I would register. I'm 53, married with 2 grown up kids.

Hi Martin,

Good to have another Martin along Interested to see which scope you eventually decide on. I'm in a similar position myself. Everytime I think I've got it sorted I think of something else - usually more expensive Anyway, as I see it, the more you spend the more committed you will be to use it.
