I was just too hot yesterday and managed only a 30 minute session, then sat in the shade and put together an animation of the last weeks worth of CaK images, I have 8 but 2 days are missing.

I should try some more today, but again I am too hot, I'm not used to this...... maybe later.

Some absolutely stunning images there, Alexandra. Was it really that hot, or do you think we're just not used to it any more? Bit of a nightmare for a hard-core solar imager such as yourself to find it too hot for imaging :( The opportunities missed! :(

An excellent collection Alexandra, all superb. Too hot, that doesn't sound a common complaint for the north of England? Actually, I have sunburnt arms from sailing today, should remember to cover up.

Thanks guys :)

On Saturday it was too hot by 11am, the hubby came along with a parasol but I still couldn't stand it. It topped 29 degrees on my thermometer that afternoon, I left the scope up under the shade thinking I would go back to it but couldn't face it. Therefore it must have been bad :(
