It's great not worrying about the weather all day and wondering if there's a chance of a shot later ..... and not having to stay up late processing . . .

I regularly have the ST120/ EQ3/2 combo on the front seat of the van just in case I get caught short , so's to speak ....

I did think about doing that, but I have just sold the CG4, and am selling the CG5-GT. I still have my photo tripod and camera though, so the idea is not dead.

On good days I put my Lunt and Merlin mount in the boot of my car and I keep a tripod and battery in the corner of my office just in case. An extended lunch/morning coffee/afternoon tea break takes care of the leave of absence.
