The Sun 19 May 2013 white light

First sight of the Sun for a week! Seeing was pretty poor and it shows! 57/200 frames taken:

get out of here. Its not even 11am yet and I haven't even seen the sun yet. Lucky devil.

I'll have to be quick as it looks like the good stuff is going and nothing interesting is coming round yet.

Nice solar images Roger. I have been out this morning trying out the Lunt Herschel wedge and Baader Continuum filter - the sky was pretty stable so fantastic view. I must now try some solar imaging with the Canon 50D. I hope I can produce some images as good as yours have been.

Excellent. The sky has finally shown some blue here, but the seeing is awful. I'm trying to grab subs at the moment before the Sun disappears behind the trees.
