Thank you all for the very warm welcome and for those who recommended Making Every Photon Count. Having checked out the reviews it looks to be a must have.

Hi, and welcome to SGL! We'll get together and try and organise some clear nights for you :)

I would be very grateful for that. My telescope is getting dusty! :grin:

Welcome! I'm a newbie to SGL myself and posted for the 1st time yesterday. In less than 24hrs I have been made to feel very welcome by other members. It was deffinatley the right decision to join SGL
