Ive got one, love it (first scope) it lives in spare room, bit of a pain carrying down 2 flights of stairs but quite managable, just take the tube and base down sepperatly

Mine lives outside in a shed, warterproof and ready cooled for action.

Take the stupid E.P. tray off, you'll keep catching yourself on it when carrying it ! I know I do

MrsR, I found that the scope can be a bit stiff to move when new, so I lubricated the base and sides with some turtle wax rubbed in, seems to work quite well, and lasts a while before needing replacing.

Hope you love the new scope, all you need now is less clouds!
