Iris nebula

Just got some data through the clouds to capture this famous nebula.

Not a good time for RGB though. Probably have to revisit it later.

Amazing Iris, Mark. Incredible resolution you get with that long focal length. Well worth all that exposure time!

Ooooh yes, love the greys leading into the darker dust. (To my dismay I've never managed to find them!) Very nice indeed. I might just layer in a slightly softer stretch for the very brightest part since there's a tiny bit of 'white out' around the star. I'm sure you have it all there in the data, though.
