Fences are expensive to build. I remember someone I know saying it is about £60- 100 a panel to build and erect.

They had to take down a multi-species hedge before they could put the fence in. It's seven panels, so that figure of around £100 per panel sounds about right.

That would have paid for a new dob and one or two really good EPs.
