Hi everyone,

Just wanted to say to everyone from a newbie in Sussex...

Just looking at buying my first telescope and trying to understand some of the technical things people are talking about!!!:)

I am currently looking at a Skymax 127, mainly due to the size and the ease of transporting it.... but not fully commited yet!!, any advice is more than welcome

I have quite good visability of the sky to the North, East and South, but might have to knock the house down to see West....

Looking forwards to getting my scope and a clear night!!!

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the forum! We are blessed with some good dark sites in Sussex.

It sounds like your location ideal. Don't worry about the west, It's your east and south east that are much more interesting.
