Hey guys,

Well I finally got my first telescope yesterday, only to discover that one of the plastic supports on my Celestron Astromaster 114EQ had snapped, so after contacting Amazon they have agreed to send a brand new one out and for me to return the other one.

So I was a bit annoyed that it was broken out of the box but happy that it was able to be exchanged, unfortunately it means waiting until Saturday to get it all sorted again but at least it will be worth the wait.

Like I imagine a lot of newcomers I have gotten into it thanks to the BBC show StarGazing live which I found to be brilliant, since it finished I have gone out and brought - The Wonders Of Collection on Blu Ray which is done by Brian Cox and so far it's been brilliant.

Then on the 25th I decided to order my scope so I'm itching now just to get in there and get using it :icon_salut:
