Hi and welcome to the forum. Yes as 'Shure' has noted above, the use of the word 'astrology' instead of astronomy which is what I presume you meant to say, will have some of the members here spinning like quasars, but most of them are Libras and Capricorns so what do you expect!

I take it from your tag that there might be somebody else observing with you which is great, as there is a lot see and plenty to keep everyone happy. To help you get started, can I suggest that you down a free bit of software called Stellarium and you can take a look here. Its simple to use and will help you plan what to see or work out what is you're looking at. Lots of features to keep you busy when the inevitable cloud comes in. Hope this helps.
