Hi all.

Quite the reception!

I'm in Newnan, GA...about 30 minutes from Atlanta.

And the first scope is a Celestron 70mm.

It was for the family on Xmas. I'd been looking at scopes for a good month and figured I'd start small to see if anyone really got into it with me. Well, everyone loved it so I resumed the search for something a little larger.

Settled on a Sky-Watcher 10" collapsable Dobsonian.

I'm pretty stoked...(so are the teenagers. Heh.)

Unfortunately, we haven't gotten to use it yet.

I was going to start another post and ask for some help.

Hey there. Welcome to the forum. I just so happen to be from the Peachtree City area so I'm quite close by. Enjoy yourself and let me know how that scope is, Been looking at that maybe being my first.
