Hello all,

Just thought I would say hello from Hemel. I've been lurking for a while now, and learned a lot. My wife bought me a telescope as a present a while ago but I haven't really had time to use it till now. I really enjoy photography, so I am interested in finding out about astrophotography. Looking forward to reading about it on the forums.

Photography eh? Hope you realise what you're saying lol - good start would be "Making Every Photon Count" - book by Steppenwolf (aka Steve Richards). The best grounding in astrophotography you'll ever get ;)
