Leo Triplet -little late

I made this acquisition in March but until now I have not managed a satisfactory processing. That's why I post it with 6 months delay.

It was a good night with good seeing, and very low temperature (useful for a DSLR).

Setup: Newton 200/1000, Eq6 Pro, Canon 500Da, Ghidaj: Sk 80/400, ALccd5, Phd.

Exp 44x5' total - 3,6h , iso 800 .

temperature -12 degrees celsius

That is a terrific image . I'm hoping to get a go at the triplet later on this season myself. Completely missed it this year because of the weather etc.

Thanks a lot. It's good to know that you appreciate it.

Anyway the processing I did in october is just 10% better than the one I did in march. But I guess this makes the difference between good and other images.

Of course I hope that in the future after another ten years of astro-photography I shall believe, still, that this is a good image.

Wonderful - in addition to the fine detail in the galaxies, you also have some subtle but distinct star color.
