Jupiter 1st September - 2nd attempt

Hi all, think I was a little tired/rusty when processing my last post. I have had another go at getting the colours more natural. Hope this looks better on your screens.

Again Oval BA top centre is very prominent and Ganymede is just slipping behind the globe at the bottom.

Nice result Peter, damm that was late in the morning 07:51 AM what elevation is jupiter at that time ? do you know. it must be sinking down again

Did you use a barlow to increase the image size?

Hi Neil, yes thanks. I think the 07:51 was the time that I posted the image. I actually took the image at 00:49UT when Jupiter was rising at 46° alt.

Yes I used a 2x barlow giving 5600mm focal length on the C11.
