  1. I've got the reducer (from a member on this site), so all sorted there. I'll need to change the mounting bar (or get an adapter), to mount the scope on my CGEM though.
  2. Scopes just arrived, wow it's a LOT bigger than I thought it would be Quick question, would you stick with the tube rings and mounting bar that came with it, up change them?
  3. I'll remind you of that when I'm having issues ?
  4. Thanks for the reply's everyone. I'm just emailing FLO in regards to spacers to put everything together with my QHY8L, then i'll get ordering
  5. Hi all, It's been a while on this site (a new child will do that! ). But she's growing up fast, so hopefully back to the sky. I never started much imaging, but I would like to. I've got a C11, but I think I should start with a smaller scope to learn. What about the Skywatcher Evostar 80ED? I'd add the field flattener with this, and it would be sat on my CGEM with a QHY8L. Any thoughts? Thanks Will
  6. What about an artificial star test indoors? Has anyone used this http://www.hubbleoptics.com/artificial-stars.html
  7. I've got a CGEM with my C11. It's a big solid beast, and handles my C11 with no problem. The CGEM is nice and accurate, and I've never had any issues with it. Cheers Will
  8. I've had my CGEM for a while now, very happy with it
  9. Yeah, it's really easy. Once you pay the import duty you can even choose the delivery date
