Registax 6

Hi just wondered if anyone else has experienced this with Regstax 6?

I only really noticed the last few processing sessions as I try and get more detail from my images.

The issue is that the Colour Mixer and HSL Controls 'box' doesnt show completely.

I have gone back and done some testing and this what I have found, when I run RS6 for the first time after installing and process something when i get to the wavelets section and click on the Clour Mixer button the box appears like so

yet every subsequent use of RS6 the Colour Mixing box only shows up like this

I can't do anything with the box other than move it around the screen.

Any suggestions most welcome.

a no this much rs6 is a pain in the rear rs5 is still the best

resurecting this thread and its still bugging me and i have found RS6 wavelets to be better than previous versions but still it never shows the actuall tools (other than the very first time after install)

any thoughts?

I remember a re sizing bug in R5 to do with the tool windows. You had to hold the mouse over the bottom corner of the window and drag the corner to increase the box size therefore exposing the rest of the sliders. Just an idea

@Gina, I have RS5 installed too but I've kind of got used to RS6

I get the same as you Justin. I tend to switch between reg 5 and 6. Sometimes stack in 5 and use wavelets in 6 and then swap back. Not ideal but it works.

Thanks Stuart at least I know its the s/w and not my steup, I shall continue to switch and maybe they'll release a new patch in 2012...

I think the registax developer is a member on here. Might be wrong on that. Have a dig around and see if you can find registax related posts that he has replied too. Or you can mail to registax@gmail.com

Yes the first thing i did was check the latest version and that what I'm on. I have also tried unsintalling mutliple times and it litterally works the very first time and thats it.

Now getting the same error with RGB Align, colour mix i could cope with but this means that rs6 is practicle useless as already do my stacking in AS!2.

I had that on the previous release of registax 6 and also the crazy paving remnants when stacking images, I have installed the update and not seen either since,

I have the update and have found that the only way to avoid this is to rerun the update before i use registax which is a bit of a pain.
