  2. Hi SmoothOperater. I can't see from the picture, is there a grub screw just below the locking bolt . That will tighten or loosen the focuser.. Dave

  6. The fans are screwed onto the plate, the plate is held on by the collimation screws. There's no vibrations as the fans don't touch the scope, and the fans pull air down the tube. Dave
  7. Hi all. I'm trying to image Jupiter and Saturn through my phone. The problem I'm having is that they are very bright I lower the iso and speed to make them better but when I lower the speed I can only take single shots. Is there a filter that would help with the brightness I tried an 80a but don't like the blue look. Dave
  8. Hi Peter. My garden is bortle 2-3, the last 3 nights have been so clear and calm the best seeing conditions I've ever had . I managed to achieve 341x mag using the ES82 8.8mm and the ES focal extender x2 and Jupiter and Saturn where beautiful

  14. Slowly getting dark, thought I would spoil myself and get both scopes out I've never seen Jupiter and Saturn through the achro.

  17. If you download snapseed you can do some editing and get rid of the blue fringe
  18. Didn't get any scopes out as ment to have been cloudy, but it seems they got it wrong and the skies where clear so I got to use my binoculars for the first time

  20. Thanks Neil. I done a star test last night conditions weren't great alot of high cloud but everything was concentric. I think I'll leave it as it is and enjoy the view's. Wednesday ment to be clear I'll report back if I have any more problems. Thanks everyone for all your help. Dave
  21. Could it be the secondary mirror needs a slight adjustment.
  22. I tried the self centering adapter still the same. I tried focusing in and out still the same. I loosened the adapter screw so it's sits in the adapter freely and it's moved closer
