  1. It stayed still in the centre of the ep. I had a clear view no obstruction. Mirror is extremely clean only just clean it
  2. I tried different ep's and still the same. When the star drifted across the fov the dot stayed still

  4. Hi all. While doing a star test I noticed a circle on the defocused star , I change ep's as I thought I had a mark on it but still the same. I never noticed it before any ideas . Dave
  5. That's the one it should tighten or loosen the focuser movement. Dave
  6. Hi SmoothOperater. I can't see from the picture, is there a grub screw just below the locking bolt . That will tighten or loosen the focuser.. Dave

  10. The fans are screwed onto the plate, the plate is held on by the collimation screws. There's no vibrations as the fans don't touch the scope, and the fans pull air down the tube. Dave
  11. Hi all. I'm trying to image Jupiter and Saturn through my phone. The problem I'm having is that they are very bright I lower the iso and speed to make them better but when I lower the speed I can only take single shots. Is there a filter that would help with the brightness I tried an 80a but don't like the blue look. Dave
  12. Hi Peter. My garden is bortle 2-3, the last 3 nights have been so clear and calm the best seeing conditions I've ever had . I managed to achieve 341x mag using the ES82 8.8mm and the ES focal extender x2 and Jupiter and Saturn where beautiful

  18. Slowly getting dark, thought I would spoil myself and get both scopes out I've never seen Jupiter and Saturn through the achro.

  21. If you download snapseed you can do some editing and get rid of the blue fringe
  22. Didn't get any scopes out as ment to have been cloudy, but it seems they got it wrong and the skies where clear so I got to use my binoculars for the first time
