  5. And I wo I also owned a Celestron 127 SLT and I think I got the maximum use out of it before upgrading to a 10 inch dobsonian but I actually preferred Barlow lenses instead of a 4mm.
  6. I’ve never actually tried an eyepiece with 3mm eye relief but is it actually worth it?
  7. I think his version is really old so it wasn’t compatible with the new iOS update.
  8. I had it with different apps before and you just have to update it…
  9. Oh no I was just saying it was nice, my name is not actually nice🀣
  10. A few months ago we had a lunar eclipse and just before it (30 mins) I got a photo of the moon through a 10 dob and just before the eclipse started so it was still full and bright. It’s as round as it can be. It’s a perfect circle πŸŒ•
  11. Last night I took my first pictures a star cluster, 47 Tucanae, just some short exposures from 2” - 5” I used a Nextar 127 slt and a digital sony camera.
  12. This looks awesome Nicee
  13. For a beginner I used star walk 2 it’s good for referencing and info and it’s like a simplified version of sky safari which I also recommend. You can get star walk 2 for free in the App Store and sky safari for not much.
  14. Cool edit: that’s great for a phone
  15. I don’t have much experience, but iv’e heard that the William optics zenith star 73 is very good and very high quality at a good price. You might want to think about getting one of them: https://www.firstlightoptics.com/william-optics/william-optics-zenithstar-73-ii-apo-2019.html
  16. My opinion: if your going to do deep sky imaging then don't stay with you reflector. better get a wide field apo refracter. https://astrobackyard.com/refractor-telescope-astrophotography/ and do get a dobsonian not with eq mount! 😊 Kind regards,
  17. I don't know if you will reply but with my celestron 127slt you can see star trailing at 10 second exposure times! so how did you get it to not slip? πŸ€”
  18. wow... so much detail The full image took 1 minute to load, but it felt like 3! Question: What was the total exposure time?
