  1. Even with single images one can just about see movement.
  2. Good ones. We have sun, too, but it's veiled in a layer of cirrostratus, with me and stratocumulus below. Which camera?
  3. I opened the final four - my immediate thought is whether there's enough contrast for the stitching program to latch onto. Perhaps someone else has managed.....
  4. It's possible - the stitching would need some similarity between the images - I assume you had a generous overlap....
  5. Over how many minutes are these covering? I'm wondering if the sun was perhaps changing too much between the first and the last?
  6. Try this one - I'm still struggling a bit with the tone curve, especially the way this tutorial suggests moving points...
  7. I'm going to confess I'm still somewhat baffled. Left bottom = dark with white to the right - input Left bottom = dark with white to the top - output. Nigella, did you lift the tone curve at each point in order to achieve the necessary adjustment. I'm asking because a couple of youtube tutorials show the user moving tone points to the left. What's the underlying rationale behind that? In my limited experiments I end up with peculiarities creeping in.
  8. Damn good in what you did manage. I have snow if anyone is interested.....No?!
  9. 'tis now raining. I'll send it your way
  10. Very nice. I have cloud, here, if you'd like it early Not seen much, if any rain! Cold front expected through us this PM but forecast remains cloudy afterwards.....
  11. Thanks Nigella - that would point to mine being 'made up' through Luminar. I've since tried to see if I can see any using ImPGG, but unsuccessful. I messed up on Ha on the same day, so good to see the comparison. ClearOutside gives me orange/red conditions for the next 6 days; but we'll see.....
  12. Double checked - that's the version I'm using. Great software, by the way, even if it does confuse my old brain cells.....
  13. Thanks Freddie - I often find some settings doing things unexpectedly. I watched a u-tube tutorial earlier this morning in which points were created on the curve and then moved to the left, rather than a straight upward lift. It's all very clever
  14. Looking, again, at the original in impgg, I get the impression those proms are not real - perhaps something that crept in as I looked through Luminar settings!
  15. For some reason I thought they'd be slightly different - though harder to see in Ca-K.
  16. Can you pinpoint which parts of the tone curve affect which parts of the image; other than black/left - white/right.
