Well, it's lovely to see such an array of pressies and how our loved one's know us so well and the love that shows. Have a blessed day tomorrow and a happy New Year. -

Thanks Jim and John, I haven't got a caliper but I've used a tape measure and it looks like M6 12mm length. Thanks think I'll order some and hope it's right, lol. They're not that expensive anyway if not. -
Hi all, I've gone through my spare bolt collection but can't find anything that will fit the dove tail bar to the revelation rings. Has anyone got any ideas what they would be and I could buy some. Thanks.

Thanks, mine is the Revelation 80 f/6.8 FPL51 ED. Don't know much about it, it came up for sale second hand and my partner bought it for me for Christmas. It looks and feels good, the focuser seems good too. -

Finally got around to unwrapping the pressies, lol. One Revelation 80mm Semi Apo to use with white light and Ca-K wavelengths. Neck warmer, fingerless warm gloves and a 2021 stargazing guide. Feeling blessed.- 68 replies

This is my relocation and refurb of my second hand pulsar dome. It was damaged by thieves trying to get in when I'd moved and had to leave dismantling the dome until another date cus of lockdown one. All sorted now in my new location. Cost about £700 for materials to do electrics, usb, ethernet cables underground and base. The Phoenix Complex.mp4

You could go second hand, nothing wrong with a second hand dome. I know you'd have to wait but the cost is half the price usually of a new one. I came across a second hand dome that pulsar was selling for a fraction of the price and revamped it when I moved last year and relocated to darker skies. I know someone else on here managed to get a second hand dome from pulsar. I expect they take them in part exchange or demo models.

Welcome to the forum. I used to live in Lanarkshire but it's a large county. Dark skies though outside the towns. Just to much cloud and scotch must, lol.

Clouded out with heavy rain here for next few days. Still I managed yesterday and hopefully on Thursday and Friday. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day supposed to be clear here. I don't mind that much as I got it yesterday. These are the sequences so far. 16th to 20th December.

Hi Vin, I always have my tilt adapter in the train.

New pulley arrived today for the shutter of my pulsar 2.7m dome. I'm going to motorise the dome rotation next summer but I'm not going to bother motorising the shutter.
