  1. I've been called something's before but not Angie, lol 🤣
  2. Thanks, I thought that too. I'll give that a try too
  3. My first Jupiter image from September 17th. Celestron 11inch SCT, Zwo Asi 224mc + Baader Neodymium filter + ADC, 9,000 frames with 25% stack using autostakker3, Location, North Devon, England, UK 51°N
  4. Well, I've tweaked it in Photoshop and not sure if I've over or under processed it. Pleased with the first light image though. Celestron 11inch SCT, Zwo Asi 224mc + Baader Neodymium filter + ADC, 9,000 frames with 25% stack using autostakker3,
  5. Is the low light function in autostakker or when capturing. TBH I've not done any serious planetary imaging and when I've done some before it was 15yrs ago with primitive webcams, lol.
  6. I had similar last night, just a quick image while mostly trying to image Jupiter.
  7. Okay, don't laugh, I've a lot to learn. First light from the C11 and Eq8 R Pro mount. I'm just trying a little denoise. Totally different from imaging solar.
  8. Wouldn't dream of it, "you need more astro stuff, you more astro stuff, you need more astro stuff," lol 😂
  9. Cool, glad I'm influencing people to buy things, lol. Only joking.
  10. Cool, I've got that too in my nostalgic collection, lol.
  11. Thanks Jeremy, I'm hoping everything works together, lol. Just need to do another polar alignment and tweak the collimation and of course get clear skies, lol.
  12. Well, not night time but I've just set up the SCT on my new Eq8 r pro mount in anticipation of the planets being visible from my location this year. Saturn still to low for me with lots of trees in the way. Just got to get one more cable. Everything had to be examined and passed by AstroCat, lol.
  13. Looking good with the some of my nostalgic collection, lol
  14. Beware, I started like yours but with a pst on a tripod, lol.
  15. Pic's of the solar obsy roof open as promised.
  16. Broadhurst and Clarkson three draw tube scope from fleebay. Been looking for one of these antique scopes for a while. A good example I think from the mid twenty's,1920's or it could be 1914/18 war as a lot were produced for the army I think. My second decent scope in the 70's was from Broadhurst, Clarkson and Fuller so it's nice to have a bit of nostalgia, lol.
  17. Thanks, it's a Neq6. I'll post with roof open, hopefully on Saturday when we're due some sunshine and testing the new scope with first light.
  18. Well, I posted about the arrival of the opticstar 127mm the other day and it's just been installed in the solar shed. Fitted it out with a spare skywatcher focus motor the other day as well (as posted in the DIY section). It only just fit's. Glad I didn't go for the 150mm which I was originally looking at. Size does matter when space is limited, did I just say that, lol.
  19. Glad I didn't go for the 150, lol my 127 only just goes in the solar shed, lol. I was going to go for the Bresser 150mm until it went up to over £700. I got the 127mm opticstar instead, but as I said, glad I didn't go any bigger, lol. Nice scope though, enjoy.
  20. I just had to look at my profile, just over four years, where has that gone. One house move (from bortle 8 to 4), one dome relocation and renovation, one shed conversion to a solar run off roof, one new mount, new solar equipment and a C11. Just WOW. Thanks Sunshine for the post. I dare to add it all up. And not forgetting the wonderful support from all of you pep's especially over this last year. Ok, I just had to add it up, gulps, gasp, fainted, lol.
