  1. First draft of data from the partial eclipse at 09.46UT. HA scope.
  2. First draft of data from 09.46UT this morning
  3. Brilliant, I too managed to observe it from beginning to end in ha and cak.
  4. Well, that was brilliant, caught it from beginning to end, that must be a first for me, lol. Just looked at the data, 195gb to process, lol.
  5. Managed a cak image after maximum partial eclipse.
  6. It's brilliant but only used the ha scope instead because of high clouds.
  7. It could be a meteor or fireball, the oirionids peak was yesterday 21st October and known for their fireballs. I've tweaked the image and zoomed in. It appears to be some break up and flaring suggesting a fireball but you'd have seen it with your eye's too so maybe not.
  8. Yeah, marked in my diary, hoping we get some clear weather. I want to catch it in Cak.
  9. Thanks Graeme, I did a polar alignment with the polemaster in the second pic position and seems to give a good alignment. I may try the other way just to see. I'm amazed at how much easier it is to polar align with the polemaster.
  10. I was thinking of getting a power tank or something that would run my eq8, camera's, etc for just those occasions this winter, lol. Seriously, suggestions would be welcome just in case.
  11. Thanks Rusted, much appreciated. Hopefully I'll get around to do more solar observations weather permitting, lol.
  12. Sorry for the delay. Please find attached images of our star 20th -23rd September. WL taken with my new 127mm Opticstar scope.
  13. My set up is growing. Imaging the sun in three wavelengths today. HA, CaK and Continuum.
  14. Hi, I'm hoping someone might know the answer to which way the adapter is attached to the Eq8 mount?. There's no instructions that I can find. Thanks 🙏
  15. No, 9,000 frames and a 25% stack. C11, Zwo Asi 224mc camera and 2.5x powermate. Imaging @ f25.
  16. It's a tough learning curve. I still need to tweak captures and processing. It's very frustrating.
  17. Hi all, here's my second attempt at Jupiter this time in the evening of the 17th September same equipment. Seeing wasn't as good.
  18. Just been playing with registax as I've not used it much in the past. So here's a reprocessed image from the early morning of the 17th
  19. Cool, I had my first light with Jupiter on the 17th September. I was blown away with the C11 and the Zwo Asi 224mc. It's an amazing camera.
  20. I've no idea what the actual back focus would be but I've just started using a 2.5x powermate with a Zwo Asi 224mc camera and a C11. No issues with focus or floppiness with the imaging train.
