I find the image mindboggling, but what makes my head explode is the thought that for every grain of sand on the entire planet there is 10000 stars out there and approx 500 billion Galaxies 😲 + 🤪

I use an EQ platform with my Dob so weather/seeing permitting I can push the magnification up quite a bit 🙂 Mark -

I've been to the Griffith Observatory in LA a couple of times (I've family there)...fantastic views, great planetarium, public viewings and it's free 😀 A must see if your 'into' Astronomy (when everything is back to normal) 😉 And of course my local observatory Kielder 👍 Mark

Sorry for hi-jacking the thread, just a quick question, I've just acquired a ipolar for my SGP...I'm only using my 200mm + 135mm lenses, so do I really need to attach my guide scope & cam? Thanks, Mark *sorry, what I'm getting at is with my set up is it worth having a guide scope/cam at all?*
