Not sure what is causing your issue. I've copied a reply I gave on your CN thread. Unless you have a alt/az mount it's probably not worth bothering with video derotation. Have you tried derotation of images instead? You could capture shorter videos and combine the stacks in Derot of images. Saturn being so low in the UK even with a alt/az mount the field rotation is going to be minimal.

Do you think it's worth the hassle derotating 60s videos Geoff? I wouldn't think there was any need at that short interval?

For sure theres more pop in the detail Geoff though there is quite a bit of colour noise coming through.

Sorry Geoff, I did not realize you had already done a drizzle version. Yeah, not much difference but I agree with Kostas the drizzle has a tad more detail in the central bands. As you say they have to be processed differently which maybe is why some people have more success than others with drizzle.

Drizzle should give you finer detail if the data is slightly under sampled. Certainly worth a try I reckon.

A tracking DOB is good to go once the mirrors are cool 🙂 That said, rock climbing with a rope makes more sense but those thrill seekers prefer without. 😉

Thanks it was actually quite cloudy on the coast each morning. Might be worth giving drizzle a whirl on that data.
