  1. Quick process of 1 ser file 200mm SCT ADC ZWO178 colour cam 1o% of 3000 frames
  2. Its all seeing dependant esp with the planets being so low. I tried the 200mm SCT the other day and looked at Jove with eyepeice and packed away 30 mins later as it was boiling away like mad. The jet stream has not been helpfcul this side of the pond either.
  3. Thanks Did you get a decent image? Despite what I said in a previous post I might just try the C11 agasin.
  4. Another go with WJ derotate 5 stacks of 5% of 3000 frames derotated in WJ Sharpened in imppg and layered onto the midpoint RGB stack as an L WO132 2.5pm ZWO ADC ASI178 colour cam Next try out I will also derotate the RGB stacks
  5. Thanks Charl. I reckon its needs to be a few degs higher for the larger scopes to be any good round here.
  6. Thanks, I am getting up courage to try Winjupos with the 30 or so video runs I did that night.
  7. Thanks Pete this is the 3rd of 4th run through I have done . The higher % of frames just did not produce an image woth trying to process.
  8. Thanks Pete. I did have a go with it a few years ago but it defeated me last time. Thats for the links .
  9. Can anybody point me in the dirrection of a guide tutorial for Win Jupos please.
  10. WO 132 ZWO 178 and x 2.5 pm 5% of 3000 frames
  11. Oh and another plus it is much quieter than the Meade coffee grinder LX200 mount.
  12. I deforked an LX200 8". The scope itself is quite light and makes a good match with the EQ6
  13. I was also a bit on the cool side. Although my weather station said it was 21ºC outsde I thik it was lying. Feet have just about thawed out.
  14. WO 132 ZWO 178 cam 3 pane mosaic reduced in size to about 50% due to awful seeing
  15. A lot of your (and my) problems are due the low elevation of Jupiter & saturn. Also the seeing has not been very good tonight.
  16. Certainly more than I saw.
  17. Just spotted them as well. Cant see them being a problem for visual but as they spread out they could ruin a few subs. Counted 52 of them with the binos.
  18. Olly thanks for the idea but the subs are too saturated for the core. But I have located some shorter subs in another folder.
  19. Take your drink of choice and go sit out and enjoy the quiet.
  20. So far I have data from last year and this year taken with the 200mm RC and the Tak 102 Hope get some shorter subs to get the "eye" over the lighter nights. click for full res
  21. Thanks Dave. I have not bothered today as fighting the fluffy things for a near blank disc is too much like work.
  22. if you squint you can see a couple of "small" filaments and proms Click for full res
  23. Lovely image. Thanks for posting the details. I have started this again the other night to go with the data from last year and did wonder how you managed the core.
