  1. Hi Adam,i used to own an LX200,and it memory serves me right when the scope slewed and the object wasn't in the center of the field i would center it with the hand set and press enter a couple of times and that sorted it.
  2. Thats what you do...........and pray it doesn't rain.
  3. Could it be slight movement, swelling or flexture caused by what ever the camera is mounted on.
  4. Couple of nights ago,has been an age from its been clear for me,with a break in the clouds had to get something...... c9.25 and zwo 224mc.
  5. Looks like its about to jump on the Kangaroo below it...or is it only me can see that, lol

  8. Not sure if this is the right section to post this in,if not could mods remove please. I am thinking about this for use in my obsy..https://www.gumtree.com/p/desktop-workstation-pcs/minix-n42c-4-mini-pc-intel-n4200-quad-core-8gb-ram-512gb-ssd-wind/1382102758. Or should i stick with my laptop . Thanks Paul .
  9. Its a basic Barlow, have no experience with it,but you dont need a thread for the camera, the camera goes straight into any 1 1 1/4 barlow or any of this size fitting. The camera is an excellent planetary camera, you will enjoy it.
  10. Yes you could use the diagional, but there is no need to.A barlow will give you more magnification but sometimes not s clear an image. These images of Mars are with and with out a barlow, the moon is no barlow.Same scope and camera as you.
  11. Hi Andy, use the 1.25 adapter with the same size adapter on your click lock, and your good to go, and don't worry about distances, it all just works.
  12. You wouldn't use the eyepiece with the camera, just use the camera with the scope for a native f10,or use a 2x Barlow giving you f20 if conditions allow.
  13. Yip......a few of your own results would be good,I'm intrigued to see.
  14. Scope would be 80ed and deep sky,I know the larger nebula would be sacrificed with the small sensor, so smaller nebula and galaxy's probably.
  15. Yes the colour, how would it be as an upgrade from a modded dslr as first dedicated camera.
  16. Has any one any links to this camera,i cant seem to find much on it,or if any one has any experiance using it would be good. Thanks Paul
  17. Nothing spectacular, just over 90 mins, with bias and flats, but first chance to get out in a long time. c80ed and 450d.
  18. Sickning...................hopefully his insurance will cover it.
  19. Nice......beats my Bortle 7 and getting worse ☹️
  20. Excellent.....looks like you have nice dark skies.
  21. I think in this current situation a lot of us are in,and i speak for my self, finances are a big thing.I am lucky enough at the minute to have a few quid to spend on astro stuff, but i had to sell other stuff,as we all do to have this so for me i would want to get it right and not have the guilt of spending what i have and have it not used ,but then again if i was competent enough to get the best out of the likes of an expensive camera i would probably think different and look forward to using it on our rare clear nights.
  22. If i didn't know better, i would have thought i wrote that my self.I'm in the exact frame of mind,i have a few quid burning a hole in my paypal with the idea of buying OSC camera, though it would be a used one and very near did only on a few occasions was beat to it.I am now thinking of keeping my dslr and upgrading something else, maybe a bigger frac ,as you say i have not been out in the obsy in weeks.
