I am sure you were only joking but just in case it is a Vauxhall Vectra car, its a 1.9 diesel and despite being 18 yrs old with 160,000 miles on its brilliant. We went the lake district two weeks ago it was averaging 55miles a gallon we get 38 around town. We service it every year last 3 MOT`s it has sailed through. Mechanic said wow you look after this the emissions are really low for its age.

You have to find a venue that will allow it and have enough pitches, you can say to people that everything on site is at their own risk thus not paying for liability insurance. (In case of accidents or damage) Then advertise it here on SGL making sure that either you are booking for them or getting them to book straight through the venue. Have a great time and pray pray pray for clear skies.

Use a bit of candle wax then heat it up until it melts that will flow around the thread then try unscrew it again. Obviously make sure none gets on the mirror. -

Another ‘What can I expect to see’ question
wookie1965 replied to Matt S's topic in Getting Started With Observing
I have never seen M51 through my 4" or 5" refractors from home I have seen M81 and M82 where I could distinguish the shape even M31 is just a blur I am bortle8 though. I go for double and multiple star systems, Clusters and Planetary nebulae. The ring Nebula M57 is very good in Lyra try that. -
SW EQ5 SynScan Goto Mount - Solar Observing?
wookie1965 replied to Ian McCallum's topic in Discussions - Mounts
I polar align every time I go out but I cannot polar align during the day so use the compass giving me as close alignment as I can get this is why I have to adjust the mount every now and again when doing solar. At night I can polar align but I have to put the mount in different spots in the garden depending on what I am looking at. So like I said I can polar align mark my tripod then put it back in that position to do solar and I should not have to adjust the mount every now and again.
