    Hello

    A warm welcome to SGL
  2. They are now only had them for a year had a Skywatcher 150p F5 and a Skywatcher 200p F5 and have always used the 25mm in fact the BST'S are very good in fast scopes.
  3. I've used my 25mm BST for over 3 years now to locate objects I've just got a GSO 32mm which after buying I've used about 4 times I still go for the 25mm.
  4. TMB 6mm I will take a better picture tomorrow.
  5. Got this bad boy today just in time for Mars.
  6. I had a Cheshire sight tube not the "premium" and not from FLO worked really well on my 8" reflector after I had flocked it. I gave it to the bloke I sold the scope to.
  7. You can do it in the dark just shine a red torch at the shiny part on the Cheshire very easy.
  8. I have a EQ5 with a rather heavy 5" frac I have got round this getting a EQ6 tripod getting a adaptor plate (https://www.rothervalleyoptics.co.uk/geoptik-heq5-tripod-adaptor-for-eq6-2-tripods.html) so my EQ5 mount fits really sturdy now.
  9. SkyScan Alignment Stars and Finder Charts - IceInSpace
  10. I have a few just not sure if they will post on here. Tried before and the links take you to my files, I need to figure out how to upload maybe to Dropbox.
  11. Very strange totally different, I wanted to fit a dual focuser but I could not find anything about doing it. Only one person had changed the focuser and by what he said it was a nightmare.
  12. I have a txt file of over a hundred of the most beautiful double stars if anyone is interested.
  13. I give mine a good clean and used a tiny bit of grease on those runners, I found if you adjust both knobs together you dont have to tighten the top one that hard and still have a smooth action. A friend on here made this bigger knob brilliant for fine focusing maybe something to think about for the future.
  14. Yes they do I have adjusted mine on my Tal 100rs, as I have put a 2" diagonal in which was heavier.
  15. I did try the council again I got a surly bloke who said as long as the light does not shine on the second floor they will do nothing. I then wrote to my elected councillor who said he would look into it and never got back to me. The yard is all flagged supposed to be a carport for the property so no chance of planting any trees no soil just clay any way, we have flowers in pots because of that apart from a couple of roses on the front. That picture is from the bed room we have had to buy blackout blinds its ridiculous.
  16. I got a new book off my lads for my birthday.
  17. I did write that in my post (nothing illegal) I am trying find a material I can use to block this out.
  18. Found these https://justglobes.uk/stars-inflatable-globe.html https://www.notonthehighstreet.com/luckies/product/glow-in-the-dark-star-globe?DGMKT=FID__TID_pla-341166093066_PID_624649_CRI_341166093066&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2py887Cf6wIVCbTtCh1gRgNGEAQYAyABEgKkL_D_BwE
  19. Well it looks like you have the nose piece for the diagonal missing, you can still use the scope looking straight through but going to be awkward. Your going have to look for a 2" diagonal now something like this if money is tight there are more expensive ones but this will easily do the job.https://www.firstlightoptics.com/diagonals/skywatcher-90-erecting-prism.html Let me know if you need a 2-1.25mm adapter something like this I will send you one. https://www.firstlightoptics.com/adapters/baader-2-to-125-reducer-adapter.html
  20. Check if the arrowed piece fits onto the diagonal
  21. Not had a chance try with my 5" yet I know I easily split them both in the Tal but cannot for the life of me remember what eyepiece I used, I must write this stuff down.
  22. To be honest I posted to see if anyone had any advice (Nothing illegal) 😀
  23. This is what I have to contend with only its local council so nothing I can do, I did ask for a shield to be put up and they did this is the result so the shield was a waste of space.
  24. Just read this unbelievable, https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8607127/NASA-ridiculed-dropping-Eskimo-Nebula-Siamese-Twins-Galaxy-nicknames.html
