Jellyfish under a full moon

Recommended Posts

Thanks, the long subs is something I've been working towards, I aligned the polarscope of the IEQ45, and guiding was running between 0.1 and 0.15 rms ...

The 2 hours showed 0.00 degrees rotation during stacking in DSS, so I'm happy. (no drift align, just polarscope ...)

1800 second subs? :D

That's not a typo... that's 30 minutes?

How did you prevent over exposing the frames with a almost full moon in the sky?

Ye no typo ... 1800 sec per sub ...

Ha 7nm ... the reflected moon light "has very few" red due to Rayleigh scattered light phenomena
