M78 REFLECTION NEBULA IN ORION

Last time i do this one , it is a very hard one to get , well for me anyway , always wanted to nab it , i tried , and its the best i can do, 45 subs at 60 secs, using the CLS FILTER ,

I always consider M78 to be as dull as dishwater visually, but you have bought it too life Rog. Good stuff 8)

Very well worth all the effort Rog - superb image.

I've always liked pics of this nebula. Very interesting image-wise if perhaps a bit 'dull as ditchwater' visually !

Without having my Canon modified, or using guiding for longer exposures, this nebula looks out of my reach. Just too difficult.

M78 is a tough one to get, you don't see many pics of it in the astromags.
