Meant to be clear tonight

It is meant to be clear here in Aynho tonight, although you would not think so looking out at the dismal sky and hammering rain. Oh well fingers crossed.

I am hoping to get on some of the Ursa Major objects tonight with the moon dominating the southern sky, it is an area I have neglected over the years, not sure why.

fantastic seeing here in meltham for a change, just been out and first lighted 2 scopes

seems clear here in bedfordshire, having trouble imaging though, not sure if it's the slight wind???

The wind is a little strong here too, but it is intermittent so it is OK. The moon is too bright for DSOs so I went for Jupiter, much better seeing this week.

Mmm images are going okay now. I made the fatally optimistic mistake of trying a slightly different setup, and thinking it might actually work straight away.

Yep, leics is very clear, but my toes nearly dropped off and work Xmas party tomorrow night so given in and gone to bed.
