Family Loss

Just for info - I've just lost my Mum - she died on a holiday to the Algarve. If my posts over the next few days are a bit flaky, please cut me a bit of slack..... I'm not really bonkers, but having a mum for over 50 years, then not to have one is a bit unusual to say the least !!

Very sad to hear of your loss, Leo. I lost my dad when I was 7 and my mom at 14. No telling where I'd be if they'd lived. You should be glad yours was around so long.

Thanks, people, for all your kind words and thoughts - busy couple of weeks to go through (so much to do when this happens!). I'll try not to be too distracted - but we'll see. Nevertheless, it is comforting to know you (new) acquaintances/friends have me and my family in your thoughts. It really does mean a lot ( and there isn't a smiley for "lump in the throat"). Thanks again, you guys.

Very sincere condolences from me too, Leo. Having lost my own mother rather tragically aged only 55, my thoughts are very much with you.
