Jupiter, 1st attempt

Hello all, my first attempt at the mighty Jupiter with a Toucam, even got Io's transit shadow. Well, I say my first attempt, I'd been faffing about with the toucam for some time, however on finding a very useful tutorial on this very site, I was determined to give it a proper go.

I ended up with about 16Gb of video! I tried all sorts of stuff, with filters, without, 2 x barlow, 3x barlow etc.

Suffice to say 4 hours went by like a flash, I didnt even notice the cold!

After trawling through what I had, came up with this one, registax'ed accordingly voila.

This one was taken with a 2x barlow using the SPX

Feedback would be most welcome.:)

Thanks for all the feedback to date, its really encouraging to read what others have to say about my efforts, I'd like to think it wasnt more luck than judgement!

Should the clouds clear for long enough I think we've got a bit more of Jupiter yet before it gets visual only, fingers crossed.
