  1. All looking very good Chris You could start selling those Wood Stores, I'm sure there would be plenty of takers :-)
  2. Best decision I ever made was to build my Obsy, it makes life so much easier (and reduces the disappointment when the good old British cloudy weather appears from nowhere) Looking forward to your updates
  3. Looking Good Chris! You'll be in there sooner than you think! Looking forward to an invite to the 'opening party'
  4. I have some lengths of 4x2 your welcome too if you can use the? Mark
  5. Hi Chris, Thanks for sending the link. Looks as if your gathering lots of useful tips, you'll soon have it built If you need any help just give me a shout. Mark
  6. Steve, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. i used the site for the recent Venus Transit (no chance of me seeing it where I am in he UK) and was impressed with the speed of connection etc, I would be really interested in being able to take pics of specific targets so may give them a try. Thanks again Mark
  7. Hi to all Has anyone signed up to SLOOH and if so, what are your thoughts? Worth the investment? Easy to use? Any pictures you can post up that you were able to take yourself while controlling a scope? Im thinking of giving it a go (especially with the lack of clear skies at the moment) and would really appreciate a bit of an insight first. Thanks Mark
  8. Welcome rollinbob! Any questions just ask away, there are plenty of Very helpfull members on the forum so answers will not be far away. Mark
  9. I 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th that. It never ceases to amaze me that Every time that gem comes into view I still have the same reaction WOW WOW and WOW again Mark
  10. There are currently 1,889 items available on eBay (clear skies) so it would seem as if they are available... Or have I missed something here?? ;-)
  11. Looking good Olly and well worth the time invested for where you are (I am so jealous) Still need to book some time at Les Granges (need to convince the accountant ((wife)) that it's a god investment) Good luck with the rest of the build Mark
  12. Unfortunately, given the extreme cloud cover last night, I took the decision to have an early night (especially after the excitement of the football (yawn, yawn)) I did not see it, but wish I had! Great site link. Thanks Mark
  13. Hi Matt Welcome to SGL My first scope was a 4se, a great scope to start with, you won't be dissapointed. As for ordering the clear skies, if you find someone offering to sell you some (proberbly best to try eBay) make sure you get a long guarantee with them as normally they don't seem to last that long! Mark
