First night at kelling

Warning to all who are coming to kelling, the wind is pushing the tents to the max, I have had 1 pole go already so if you have some bring your wind breakers as they will help, wind speed is about 35 mph in open ground!!!!

Hi Noel, I had a call from the Liverpool lads and they report a clear sky this evening with the Milky Way looking glorious. I am in the middle of panic mode and will find out in the morning if I can fit my vixen mount and camera bits in with the tent etc. You should have a dry day on arrival. See you there.

Hi All,

Weather forecast s looking better now, Unfortunatley I haven't booked a pitch after seeing on here that they are booked since last year lol. I may just turn up on Saturday morning and see if there are any no show's!!! Anyone got any idea from past experience if this is likley or not!! Just purchased a new Bresser Messier 127S f5 refractor and itching to bring that along for some inky black skies!! :-(

What a star!! hopefully it will be clear. I would happily take you up on that offer, if I dont get a pitch. The car will make a great tent for one night if need be lol.

been here since about 3this afternoon and its rained on and off but is still warm there is a strong breeze But the main thing the sky is as thick as i dont know what apart from that its fine . So fine im going to put a pixxa in the oven ..
