It's looking good for tonight for anyone south of Yorkshire (at a guess).

Anyone planning on doing anything tonight?

I think I might try and have a look for Comet Swan

Hope the Forecast is right Kain, fancy getting M31 again(imaging) but getting it right this time well depending on seeing etc etc..

Comet Swan id love too but it's beyond my vision at my observing location, good luck with that Kain

Just checked the Met Office Website. Its showing Stoke as being clear tonite. I have reboxed my scope due to us moving, but I guess i could unpack it again, just for 1 more night :)

Where about is comet swan located at the moment? I wouldn't mind checking it out if possible.

Lucky, Lucky, Lucky people. Stormy "up north" again. west central Scotland has scudding clouds and high winds - going to pour down again soon.

I might at last get a first light with my ST120. I've upgraded the focuser to a crayford so i can actually use the 'scope and am hoping for good things

Don't blame you Gordon, ive just loaded up some M31 images from the other day and spotted what i think ive captured an Asteroid passing close by the Core of M31 (Yet Confirmed) so i will be playing with those few frames this evening..

Clear as a bell here, set up this afternoon after watching the forcast, proved correct, just taken some images of M15, started on M31 when the camera battery ran out, so having a cuppa while it charges

Back in for another cuppa, waiting for Orion to climb a bit morw, gets washed out by Torquay lights when its low, just seen a stunning meteor, almost from the zennith to the ground facing east.
