Voting has finished and here is an Announcement to the winning entry for the Competition!

After sometime the Admin and GM's Team have come to a hard decision on the wiiner of the 2" Moonfish 15mm EP after so many fantastic entry's to the Competition it was voted that KAIN wins the EP for his wonderful entry here http://stargazerslounge.co.uk/index.php?topic=6547.msg79763#new.

If you could PM Grant and give him your address details the Eyepiece will be sent to you Kain.

On behalf of the SGL Team many congratulations on a well deserved Prize also thank you to everyone else who entered the Competition we certainly enjoyed reading through them all.

Imagine you are in a spaceship 8)

You are passing your favourite spot on the Moon and you want to have a look. The spaceship has two portholes - small and large. They both show the same Moon but the larger porthole shows you more of it..... It has a larger FOV. As far as eyepieces go, 80 degrees is a huge porthole!

15mm Plossl = small porthole

15mm Ultrawide = large porthole
