Some Pics from night out

last month i visited my village and while i was on the motorway i took these pictures.

Camera=1000d

Lens=Canon 15mm fisheye

ISO=1600

Exposure=30 sec

Fixed Tripod

Location=150km from Lahore,Pakistan.

i dont think u have ever seen dogs stargazing:D

the following also shows m44/beehive cluster.beehive cluster can also be seen in the above pics like in the first one.

Salaams, Fantastic shots there Neelam, Im planning to visit in 3 weeks (I will miss you SGL people for 2 weeks), Im toying with the Idea of taking some astro gear with me, but it's a choice of spending money or astro gear. The only light you will see in the village is footpath light...

sure u shouldnt miss your dslr atleast and a small fixed tripod.skys would be clear here before the monsoon season starting in mid june.

while i was on the motorway i took these pictures

Not sure what the UK motorway police would say about someone stopping and doing a spot of astro-imaging on the hard shoulder!

Thanks.They were actually not on the main motorway like it was too busy and too much light pollution.So most of them are from behind service/gas stations or maintainance yards that are connected to the main motorway were they park bulldozers and other machinery.Following is how main motorway looked

Really nice shots!

Love how you combined the foreground with the stars in the sky.

The dogs are great :D

Some pictures seem a bit noisy, but I guess thats due to the high ISO.
