Hi. I thought I should finally register and write a line to say thanks for this website, and for all the advice that many of you have indirectly given me.

I've been researching a new scope for some months, and this website was the mainstay of all the advice I took. (I finally went for an Explorer 150pl on the EQ3-2).

Then with a couple of teething problems I was again able to sort them out with SGL, and I have just come in from the icy cold with a huge grin on my face, having seen Saturn's rings again for the first time in nearly 20 years.

Saturn was my first planet through the scope, amazing experience. Wait a few years and the rings will open, absolutely mind blowing to see them like that.
