That looks really slick Rob !.

I'm assuming that the collimation screws are shown in your penultimate photo - nice to see the "no tools" approach adopted - non "Bobs Knobs" needed here.

Looks and sounds a great scope Rob. Look forward to using it in the near future :)

I can also give a double thumbs up to the Antares/Orion Eyepiece Centering Adapter. A great little accessory.

A couple of quick questions:

1. What is the weight of the tube assembly?

2. What size is the secondary mirror? (I'm concerned that the extra length of the 2" focuser may lead to inadequate illumination of the edge of the field ... I'd guess it should be at least 2" minor axis, 2.25" would probably be better)

I will check the OTA weight and secondary mirror size tonight. I think the secondary is a bit on the small size. When using a Cheshire for collimation, the primary retaining clips are right at the edge of the field, you can't see the actual edge of the primary at all. Of course I might be doing it wrong...
