Hello From Salisbury Plain

Hi,

This is my first post hear, I'm just starting out in Astronomy, I've recently bought my first scope (a Skywatcher Newtonian, since you ask) and I'm just waiting for these darn rain clouds to clear so I can go and give it a whirl.

Any tips or advice is always gratefully received. Especially on dark sky sites on Salisbury plain. The military camps here seem to be always glowing on the horizon, so suggestions would be brilliant!
